Really nice Christian Song :)

I heard this song today at a Prayer Meeting with a group called Saint Paul's Outreach at school today and I really liked it.  I think it's a got a really great message that I have been very passionate about lately especially after going to my first real Catholic funeral Mass recently and I have also been reading a lot in my philosophy about the human person and what philosophers feel is proper to the human nature and a few brought up this idea of not mourning after as if they lost something for that person always belonged to God and we just get to borrow them for a while.. I also really like the song "Temporary Home" by Carrie Underwood which also goes along with this idea about our home being with God, so I will post those lyrics as well :)

Enjoy!

"We belong to God"

1. None of us lives as his own
and none of us dies as his own
For while we live we are responsible to God
And when we die, we die as His servant's
(Refrain)
Refrain:
For both in life and death we belong to God
That Is why Christ has died for us and come again
We shall all appear before the judgement seat of God
For it is written, "Every knee shall bend before me
and every tongue shall give praise to God"

2. For we are sure that neither death nor life
Nor this nor future ages nor their pow'rs
No height, no depth, no creature that thrives
Will come between us and the love of Christ
(Refrain)

3. Give yourselves as sacrifice to God
Holy and acceptable to the Lord
Do not allow your minds to be conformed to this age
But let your hearts be ruled by His Spirit
(Refrain)

4. Now not all of us shall fall asleep
But all of us are to be changed
In the twinkling of an eye, as the last trumpet sounds
We shall rise victorious in Christ!
(Refrain)

"Temporary Home"
Little boy, 6 years old
A little too used to bein' alone
Another new mom and dad, another school
Another house that'll never be home
When people ask him how he likes this place
He looks up and says with a smile upon his face

"This is my temporary home
It's not where I belong
Windows and rooms that I'm passin' through
This is just a stop, on the way to where I'm going
I'm not afraid because I know this is my
Temporary Home."

Young mom on her own
She needs a little help got nowhere to go
She's lookin' for a job, lookin' for a way out
Because a half-way house will never be a home
At night she whispers to her baby girl
Someday we'll find a place here in this world

"This is our temporary home
It's not where we belong
Windows and rooms that we're passin' through
This is just a stop, on the way to where we're going
I'm not afraid because I know this is our
Temporary Home."

Old man, hospital bed
The room is filled with people he loves
And he whispers don't cry for me
I'll see you all someday
He looks up and says "I can see God's face."

"This is my temporary Home
It's not where I belong
Windows and rooms that I'm passin' through
This was just a stop,on the way To where I'm going
I'm not afraid because I know this was
My temporary home."

This is our temporary home

My New Hair

So after being home for Christmas break for two days, I forced myself to pick a hair cut and finally get it done.  They just opened a Great Clips in Lakewood, so I went there since I had a coupon so it was only 6.99 and I ended up going with Carrie Underwood bangs and Demi Lovato layers with about 2 1/2 inches off the overall length and I dyed it really reddish brown. I didn't like it at first, but now that it's grown out some, I love it! The color has faded though and I'm sad to say that it is much more brown than red now, but I have been getting a lot of compliments on my hair since I've been back at school, so I feel very confident in my hair choice :)

This is what it looked like right after I got it cut and I dyed it-->
The cut looks a lot like my last hair cut, but I can't decide which one I like better, but I love love love the reddd :)

Here's what it looked like the day before I got it cut and dyed it

And here are some pictures of my hair straightened so it's easier to see the difference in length:

Time to get a haircut again...

Last time I got my hair cut, I was in Cleveland and I went to the Great Clips in Middleburg Heights and they did an amazing job and it was only 12 dollars!  Here is the cut I got: ----->
I was pretty much obsessed with it, but my hair's grown out again and I hate doing the same thing right in a row like that.

Plus my friend just cut my bangs into front bangs, so I don't think my bangs would even be long enough to do this again. but here

(<---to the left) is what my hair looks like now, so I was thinking of at least definitely getting a trim to get rid of my split ends and add some bounce and then, maybe getting my layers re-done and getting short layers like I had in the last picture and then, either just getting better-looking front bangs or trying to do really heavy side bangs in my face.

Again, I found myself trying to find a good picture of Demi Lovato's bangs, because she just has amazing hair in general and I think we have similar hair and traits, so I figure I could probably pull off her look.

I also found this picture of Allyson from American Idols and I just love everything about her hair and am planning to dye mine a brightish red after I get it cut too, so I'm sure I would lovee having her cutt! I'm just not sure  I have enough hair to create those bangs...

Since I want to dye my hair before I go home for Christmas and I want to get it cut before I dye it, so the color will turn out better, I have been trying to find a good place in Columbus to get my hair cut.. I do not think I trust the Great Clips near me after what they did to my boyfriend's hair, and I've looked at some bad reviews for a few other places, so I'm thinking of going to the salon inside of the Macy's at Easton, but I haven't been able to find any reviews of that place, so if anyone can tell me anything about the quality of their hair cuts and they're prices and offer me any suggestions on a hair cut, I would really appreciate it! Thanks
